MB (Handmade) Specials

Lots of things have changed in angling over the last decade or so, However the Hand turning techniques I use have not. It would have been so easy to change over to automated cnc production and compete with the major company's. But that personal touch and the uniqueness would be lost. (quite possible MB (Handmade) Specials as well.) So by staying small has helped cater for most match anglers individual needs and although mainly canal (SILVER FISH) orientated, I have still managed to produce a large range of commercial style patterns. I even make the odd stick float now and again, which really does make MB (Handmade) Specials very versatile indeed!

We all have a favourite pattern. A preferred body colour or even base white tips. Shortened or lengthened tips and stems. Side eyes or not?

Certain patterns produced over the years, have become so popular they actually bear the names of either the venue or the area they were intended for.
