ABOUT MB FLOATS
MB Floats was first founded as a mail order, Brochure based supplier of Hand turned Specials way back in 1993.
MB Canal Specials website, was also one of the front runners in the early days of online ordering 1998 and is still online today as an archive. www.mbcanalspecials.co.uk mainly for the hardcore canal match anglers. All balsa patterns there were 100% hand turned by myself. With many now available in my online store.

Question) Do You Sell Pole Float Bodies?
Answer) No. Not now not ever, In short I do not mass produce and have no auto mated machinery other then a manual feed CnC machine, with all MB Floats from Traditional Hand-
Question) What type of lathe do you use for pole floats?
Answer) Quite simply I do not turn pole floats on a lathe. All specials are turned, drilled and profiled by hand either off an open chuck or through/against a centre-
Question) Can you copy/make a canal float I can no longer buy?
Answer) With Balsa I would say in most cases Yes. But as I’m still learning programming for CnC, at present in foam possibly No. But generally I might have a go.
Question) A certain pattern or size is out of stock online and when will you do more?
Answer) Simply send an email, text or even message on Facebook and I’ll let you know when doing more by return.
Question) When will you start posting to Europe again?
Answer) As of February 2024 I now post to Some European Countries and have put an international Postage category within main menu of Online store with extra postage fees.
