This is the original whip pattern I used back in the day in the day on the Oxford cut when full of Gonks, but now with a solid 1mm Hi-Viz tip, which most cut anglers now favor (at present!).

Can be fished with a bulk or strung out shot. and used from 2 - 6mtrs. to hand. they also sit in the water perfectly whatever the conditions, so making this a good choice when the wind is up.
