An old pattern ressurected with new name. The Chappers Ratter. Almost identical to the Grafton Ratter only differing in a 1mm hollow tip. This pattern was originally developed by myself for Norbury and Gnossell on the Shroppy in the early 90's and was all balsa back then with no tip as such and sat on piano wire stems for fishing tight accross between boat traffic and prodominantly used for fishing the seed with just a single N0.7 styl down the line. the pattern had an upgrade in the late 90's when i found myself back on the Grand Union match Circuit and for the first time the wire straight thru and a sleeve of pole float tubing used to thicken tip before painting. then some time around 2005 with fibre tips becoming popular changed again before being discontinued as replaced by my MB14 which are Hollow tips also. so back again with another facelift and new name my Old Original Ratter from 30 odd years ago when I was a regular towpath warrior......
