Definatly a classic profile that I've continuley made over the years not only for myself but many others. Given the name as I made these originally around the turn off the century for Holly farm Gils lake and then only upto 4x12 (0.25g) with a short painted 1mm cane tip, and simply called Micky. This new ish pattern I've been making for myself mainly for Trotters Lake at Holly farm and generally only 0.4g and 0.5g sizes. Used with a caster approach generally but this Autumn/winter I've found they fish just as well with seed, punch, maggot and even expanders upto 6mm when fishing in the bottom third wether thru the water (which in my opinion balsa can not be beaten) or even bulked in with just a few droppers. As most people Know I'm not one for setting loads of rigs up when matching fishing so versitility is paramount for me and this pattern certainly meets that criteria.
