Originally designed for the Grand Union between Milton Keynes and Northampton with nylon solid tips or cane back in the 1990's. now even Hollow tips and ideally suited for fishing the bottom of both near and far shelfs, best fished with a semi-bulk of No.10 shot or styles some 18 inches. (450mm.) from the hook. and 3  No.7 styls 4 inches (100mm.) apart to act as droppers, which I find gives the right presentation when loose feeding squatts regular, in the deeper areas of canals.
